MOHAW

We had a Fabulous time in Moab this weekend! We went down with Jason's family for the annual car show.
Some of the highlights included:
Early morning basketball and obstacle courses with the kids.
Fins and Things (Jason''s dream trail. I had to close my eyes throughout a lot of it.)
Our flat tire 1 minute into our first ride on the Rhino.
Hot dogs and playing at the park.
The fun cave we hiked through.
Muddy Buddies
Picnic lunches out on the rocks.
Cheering on the Jazz at night.
Erin's big tub of yummy treats she made.
Lucy got to stay with her aunt Enion and Ellie & go where ever they went.
The kids got a full weekend of playing with their cousins.
I got to be with Jason for 3 full days!!

At night we would take our chairs down on Main Street to watch all the excitement of the cars and people.
Our kids must of yelled Light 'em up 1000 times.

Abbie wanted to be with her Grandma and Grandpa every second while we were there. When we got home she asked if she could move in with them and kept looking for her suitcase so she could pack her things. Thank you SO MUCH Craig and Teresa for such a fun weekend! We made some fun memories and had such a great time all being together. Thanks for sharing your Rhino's, helping us with our kids, and planning such a fun trip for us all. We love you!

While the boys looked and looked at all the millions of cars and trucks we played with the kids at the park.

On Friday we went on a ride to a really neat cave.

Saturday we went to Fins and Things. I had no idea what I was in for. My kids couldn't figure out what I was so scared about. Jason and the kids had the time of their lives. Thank Heavens my Mother in Law was leading the pack because when I saw her bail out I knew I should follow. We had to walk down a few spots when we got too nervous.

The whole gang.
We missed you Lewis and Muriel!

Our only mishap was our flat tire just as were were leaving the first day. But we were up and back riding in no time.

Hoorah! Abbie can ride a bike.

Saturday we decided to take the kids to the park and teach Abbie how to ride a bike. Jason took her trainning wheels off and followed Max and Emilee on their bikes over to the park. Abbie decided that she wanted to run with me. At first I was a little hesitant because we were going a couple miles away and I was worried that it was too far for her. But she surprised me at how she just keep going and was determined to make it all the way there. She kept telling me that her heart was beeping so fast and every once in a while she would stop and lift up her shirt to see how skinny she was getting. It was so fun to have her with me and her non stop talking and funny comments kept me company on the way. I love you Abbie!

Once we got to the park Jason put her on her bike, gave her a push and off she went! Her very first try she took off and never looked back. Wow! What a fun day it was all riding our bikes together. I had Lucy behind me in a bike seat. I hope we can to it again sometime soon!

A taste of Summer

Last week for Spring Break we had a lot of fun. We went to the park, went swimming, saw Horton Hears a Who, had a sleep over at Grandma Millers, and spent a day of fun up at Grandma Clarks feeding the horses & fish, and playing outside. The kids also spent some quality time outside playing with all of their friends. They got the summer fever and decided to have a lemonade stand even though it wasn't really lemonade weather. I think me and Lucy were their only costumers but they had a lot of fun and it kept them entertained for awhile. All in all Spring Break was a nice little break from school and fun to be together for a whole week!

Max's Determination

Max has something on his mind once again. He is determined to get a little motorcycle and is driving us crazy asking about it every 5 minutes. We keep telling him that if he wants something he has to work hard and earn it. All weekend he has been busy working around the house asking what he can do to earn some more money. This morning at about 7:00 a.m. Jason and I pulled up to our house after being at the Gym and we found Max out in our front yard all by himself pulling weeds. It was very cold out but he didn't seem to mind, all he could think about was that motorcycle. The cutest part was... that it wasn't long until his sisters woke up and saw him out working. They wanted to help him weed so he could earn his money faster. Max, I hope you keep that determination always!!! I could use a good gardner around here.

Annual Girls Trip

This Year we went to Scottsdale Arizona for our Girls Getaway. It was so fun as always to be together and a nice little break from doing dishes, laundry, and the hustle and bustle of life.It was SOO GOOD to be with Kelly! We don't see her enough!
The sunshine & warm weather was HEAVEN!!!

We stayed at a fun little resort with a lake. Me and My mom took a fun little ride on the paddle boats.

We shopped, ate, soaked up some sun, had massages, pedicures, and talked as much and as fast as we could until it was time to leave.

Sisters by Fate... Friends by Choice!
I don't know how I got so lucky to have the incredible mom and sisters that I do.
Thanks for the fun girls! We sure missed you Nicole!

It is good to be back with the ones that I love. Thank you Jason for holding up the fort and taking care of four sick kids while I was away. (I came home to a clean house and a yummy Sunday Dinner he made all by himself.) You are an amazing Dad and husband!!

Happy Birthday Emilee!!!

I can't believe that I am old enough to have a 10 year old. Boy does time fly when you are having fun!
10 Reasons I love Emilee:
1. She is my best little friend. I love that we can talk about anything.
2. She is such a big help and is so responsible! I was so lucky to get her first!

3. She is an amazing sister! She is a good example to her little brother and sisters and they love and look up to her so much.
4. She is the family clown. She loves to act goofy and laugh.
5. She has been given so many talents and especially loves to dance. She is always dancing around the house and never holds still for one second.
6. She always tries to do what is right.
7. She is the worlds best babysitter. She is always willing to help watch the kids and they love it!
8. She is a chocolate lover just like her mom.
9. She works hard at school and I don't even have to ask her to do her homework. She usually has her week homework packet done the first night she gets it.
10. She makes our family so happy!

Sunday Night when I came home from my girls trip Jason had made this cake for Emilee so she got to blow out candles twice. What a Dad!!

Monday morning opening her presents. Emilee got a new bike that she and her dad picked out.

Monday Night we went and ate at the Olive Garden, her favorite, and had visits by both Grandparents. When I asked Emilee what she wanted to do for her birthday she said that she wanted her Grandma's and Grandpa's to come over for Brownie Sundaes.
