Abbie's Big Day!!!

Today was one of the hardest days for me!! It wasn't easy letting Abbie go to Kindergarten this afternoon. I have been in such turmoil trying to decide if this is what is best for her. (Everybody send your prayers our way that we are doing what is right.) As for Abbie you can tell that she was soooo excited to be going to school with her big brother and sister. It was the longest morning ever for her. She must have asked me 100 times this morning, "how much longer?"

When she got to school she was the first one there. This little boy Joe Joe was next. She met him for the first time. I later asked if I could take a picture of her and her little friend Elle. She said, "And Joe Joe" because he was the only other one there and she didn't want him to feel left out. So Joe Joe hops in the picture and Abbie puts her arm around Elle and looks at the little boy and didn't quite know what to do. So she kind of puts her arm around him too. He quickly replys "don't touch me" in a not too kind way and Abbie was so embarrsed!
Posted by PicasaLucy had to have her back pack on today too. This might be as hard on Lucy to have the kids gone at school as it is for me. I love you Abbie and will sure miss you every afternoon!

My boy is big enough to play Football

There is nothing funner than football season! And this year we are lucky enough to spend our Saturday's cheering on the Lindon Vikings. Have I mentioned that it is so fun to have a boy! Go Max!

Max was a captain this game.

Coach Miller
Max is so lucky to have a Dad who is so multi talented and willing to spend so much time with him. But if you ask me I think Jason is having more fun coaching than the boys.

High School Musical 2 Premier Party!!

The long awaited night was finally here. Pizza, homeade oreo cookies, and a love story with Troy and Gabriella... what more could you ask for?

I couldn't get Emilee to look away from the t.v. for 1 second for a picture. This night was her dream come true!

A typical Summer Day at our house

As the summer comes to a close I ask myself if I'm ready for the kids to go back to shcool. This year I feel more ready then ever before. Sometimes I feel like I am running a day care around here. I am so grateful that my kids have so many cute friends to play with and feel like I live in the best neighborhood around. But feeding the whole neighborhood lunch every day and having a house full of energetic kids day in and day out can be a little wearing. I will miss my own kids while they are gone during the day but will be glad to see all of the neighbor kids loading in their cars heading off for school come Tuesday morning. It has been so nice to take a break from all the hustle and bustle of school but it will be nice to get back into a routine. I love you Emilee, Max, Abbie, & Lucy!

It has been a GREAT Summer!!

Flaming Gorge

One of the best parts of Jason's summer is a week at Flaming Gorge. He loves being on his boat with his kids and playing in the water!!!

Grandpa Miller relaxing in the trailor.

Thank you Sophie for making my mom give me a binki for a whole week!

Posted by PicasaThis was camp. I have learned over the years as a mom that a vacation shouldn't be called a vacation. It's more of a trip. We had a great time and made some great memories. The kids love every second of it and play from sun up to sun down. But camping for 8 days is a lot of work!! Flaming Gorge is so beautiful and it is a fun tradition we look forward to every year.
The highlights included:
Playing cards with the kids late at night in the trailer.
Laying in bed and watching a huge thunder and lightening storm.
The yummy food we had each day
Hot showers
The ride to lucern for an ice cream
Watching Taylor change a diaper on the boat
Riding the tube!
Having a bathroom while I had the flu, even if I had to drive to it 100 times.
Our big birthday party with everyone. Thanks Claire!

Every year the boys climb the rocks and swing off a big rope swing into the water. Scary! This year we had a few close calls.

McEwan we are so proud of you for getting in the water. The kids had the best time on the tube and they never wanted to get off.

Playing in the water

Yahoo!!! Max rode the knee board!

You should have seen Jason wakeboard! He could be on a professional wake boarding team. His skills are amazing!!!! It must have something to do with the person driving the boat.

Yes Jamie, I was scared. Abbie is braver than me.
