Field Day, Graduation, and Calling it a Year!

There is nothing quite like the feeling of SUMMERTIME!!!!
Field Day is such a fun way to Celebrate the end of School.
Each Year they have a mini marathon where they block off the streets and let the kids run a mile race.
Here is Em with her friends lined up on the starting line.

I was so proud of Emilee! She ran her little heart out!

Emilee was so TIRED when she crossed the finish line!
Way to Go EM!!!!

Max and his buddies getting ready for their turn!

Max was all business!!!
This was no fun run for him! He has that competitiveness running deep in his blood and he was going to WIN or else!!! He has been begging for some new fast running shoes for the big race and wasn't going home with out a medal.

Way to go Max!!!
He took 3rd place out of the whole 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Grade.
Talk about some speed!!

And of Course Abbie was there for the FUN!!!

These are a few of her cute friends getting ready to take off.

Good Work Abbie!
It is so fun to watch her smile with everything she does!

Thank heavens for the Popsicles after the race!

The rest of the day is filled with fun games and relays.
Emilee ran in two relays representing the 5th Grade.
An all girls race and one co-ed.
She is the 2nd fastest girl in her class!

Yes and they did Great!!!

Lucy and Jayne can't wait for their turn to be part of Field Day.
But for now I love having them there with me to hang out with and enjoy watching all the excitement from the sidelines!

Lucy was thrilled to have her own special day Graduating from Preschool.

She had the funnest year being with all of her best buddies!
Meagan, Sophie, Brooklyn, and Millie
What smart, fun, and adorable girls!

We love Miss Misti!
And we LOVE our Lucy!!!!!

Fathers & Sons 09

The most awaited weekend for Max has come and gone.
Max got checked out of school a little early and just paced the floor back and forth with excitement. He loves packing up his treats, taking his flashlight, sleeping in the tent, and getting some one on one boy time with his dad and his buddies!
Only 364 days until next year!

And when the boys are out the girls play!
We went out for a yummy dinner together, hit the mall, got em's eyebrows waxed, (doesn't she look beautiful?) ate cold stone ice cream, and then went back home for a movie and pedicures.

We may have had more fun then the boys!

3 Months Old

And the Happiest 3 Months of my life!

Motherhood is not for Wimps!

"Any mother could perform the jobs of several air-traffic controllers with ease!"
"Insanity is hereditary; you get it from your children."
"A young boy said to his mother, 'How old were you when I was born?' His mother replied, '23.' 'Wow that is a lot of time we missed spending together.'"
"Mother love is the fuel that enables a normal human being to do the impossible."
"A Mother understands what a child does not say."
A few of the things I love about being a Mom:
1. When I go in their rooms at night and see them all sleeping so innocently.
2. When I hear the door open each day as my kids walk in from school. They all talk as fast as they can to give me all the details of their days.
3. When I walk into Jayne's room to get her out of her crib and her eyes light up when she sees
me coming.
4. Listening to Lucy's sweet prayers.
5. When Max looks up at me after he does something good in a game to make sure I am watching.
6. Watching Abbie's determination on her face as she plays soccer.
7. Getting served breakfast in bed by one of the world's best cooks, Emilee!
8. The words "I love you Mom" for no reason.
9. Having Jayne to snuggle up with and sleep next to every morning until we have to get up.
10. Sitting all together around the dinner table at night and talking about our highs and lows of the day.
My Greatest Blessing in this life has been being a Mom!
And being raised and loved by the best Mom in the World!
Happy Mothers Day!

Just Like My Dad!

Training Wheels Off!
Lucy can ride a bike all by herself!
Jason is always telling the kids that he could ride a bike by the age of 3.
Tie his shoes by 3.
Drive a car by 8.
(I'm not sure his memory is completely accurate. )
But he was determined that Lucy could ride her bike at 3 too.
And look at her go!
Lucy waits all day for her Dad to get home from work so she can go ride her bike with him. We have so much fun going for walks at night together and watching her ride.

Can you tell that she is proud?
