Lucy was so happy to have "Baby" at the zoo. She was more interested in him than the animals. She smooshed her way into his stroller for a ride.
I went to the zoo with Max's school class on Friday. What are the odds that we would meet the Clarks there and pull in right at the same time? We had so much fun walking the whole zoo with them!! I think they have a wonder mom to plan such a fun day for them!
Max and his good friend Jordan. Jordan doesn't talk at all at school or at any public place. Max is such a good friend to him and helps him out so much. Jordan will whisper in Max's ear and he is the only one he will talk to. I love you for that Max! You are a great example to me!
Max and Caitlyn at the Giraffes.
My favorite week of the whole year has come and gone.
It was a week of Heaven!!! What more could you ask for than a week at the beach with all of my brothers and sisters and their kids and my mom and Dad? We relaxed, soaked up some sun, swam, and ate some of the best food. Here are some of the highlights:
It started off with a dream come true night out with Nicole to see Celine Dion in Vegas. Bret got us tickets and arranged for us to go as he and Jason sat back in the rooms with the kids. It was the most amazing show I've ever seen and a night I will never forget!
THANK YOU BRET!!!!!
The Cougars were in town and we couldn't miss the big game. With a little pursuaion from Matt we all ended up at the game and it was so much fun!!!! It was quite an event!! The traffic getting there, the kazillion cars parked on the golf coarse, and the 5 mile hike into the Rose Bowl. It was an experience I am so glad we didn't miss!!! Go BYU!
The girls were so brave this year and ventured out into the waves!! The waves were big and so much fun this year. I can't believe we have kids old enough to be out there swimming with us.
I have never seen Lucy so happy as she was this week. Digging, and making us sand pizzas, and jumping into the pool to her Dad 4 billion times. She thought she was really swimming. She would be smiling so big that she would forget to keep her mouth closed and would drink in water with every jump.
The boys spent their time catching sand crabs, surfing on the sand, and digging big holes in the sand and making swimming pools. And you can't forget their annual trip to the candy store with Grandpa.
You can't believe the cooking the girls can do with sand. Don't they look like they could all be sisters?
The Grandkids wait for Grandpa to come down to the beach. Cause when he comes he always brings something good to eat (popcycles, drinks, pudding, cookies), and a lap to hold a sandy child on.
Emilee had a whole week with her very best friends. Being with her cousins is her favorite thing!!!! Those girls went from the pool to the beach 100 times a day.
